Welder

Air Quality Engineering seeks an experienced Welder.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and run production MIG and TIG production welding jobs; achieve standards regarding productivity, delivery, and quality; Adhere to rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Inspect parts to confirm conformance to specifications.
- Let management know when running low on welding components, supplies and consumables.
- Help maintain a safe working environment and work in a safe manner at all times.
- Clock in and out of jobs; record proper counts in the computer.
- Help with continuous improvement to eliminate waste and increase productivity and profit margins of the production processes.
- Support processes and policies in support of organizational goals; help document and follow best practices.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of welding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes; ability to read blueprints; understanding quality standards.
- Vocational training preferred.
