Air Quality Engineering seeks an experienced Welder.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and run production MIG and TIG production welding jobs; achieve standards regarding productivity, delivery, and quality; Adhere to rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Inspect parts to confirm conformance to specifications.
  • Let management know when running low on welding components, supplies and consumables.
  • Help maintain a safe working environment and work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Clock in and out of jobs; record proper counts in the computer.
  • Help with continuous improvement to eliminate waste and increase productivity and profit margins of the production processes.
  • Support processes and policies in support of organizational goals; help document and follow best practices.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of welding experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes; ability to read blueprints; understanding quality standards.
  • Vocational training preferred.
