Commercial Sales - Account Manager

We are Air Quality Engineering, Inc., a manufacturer of a wide variety of air cleaners and air filtration systems for industrial, medical and commercial applications. Manufactured in Minnesota, we take pride in the quality and reliability of our products and providing customers with the best product solutions.

Air Quality Engineering seeks a technically oriented business to business inside salesperson. This position is full-time with benefits. Compensation is straight commission.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative sales team and successful sales coach. Air Quality Engineering Inc. is an innovative manufacturer of products which help save people’s health and/or the environment.

The sales territory includes an established revenue stream and customer base. Professional management of the existing customer base provides opportunities for eliciting references and referrals from the customers in your territory. Success in this position requires heavy phone contact, working with engineering to assure customer satisfaction and generating quotations. A variety of sales metrics and revenue expectations will be employed to analyze sales performance and further your successes. Development of your territory is a crucial part of these metrics.

  • Dealer development
  • Prospect follow up
  • Prospecting
  • Quoting
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Idea generation and collaboration projects
  • Customer presentations via Teams, etc.

Some training is in conjunction with application engineers who actively support the Sales Department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Three or more years of successful sales experience
  • Contact management software experience
  • Ability to understand and sell a technical product line
  • Professional phone demeanor
  • Ability to professionally and successfully manage a distributor /dealer customer network
  • Excellent selling skills including prospecting, handling objections and ability to close

Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, have business integrity and be able to make decisions based upon the best long-term interest of the company and its customers.
